NiSIT — Nigerian Scholars in ItalyNiSIT
NiSIT's founding programme

Go Italia

A community of Nigerian scholars in Italy guiding prospective students, one step at a time, from application to arrival.

What is Go Italia?

Go Italia is the founding programme of NiSIT — the initiative Nigerian Scholars in Italy was built from. It is a community of Nigerian students where application processes are discussed and shared openly, so that no one has to navigate the journey to studying in Italy alone.

Go Italia brings together Nigerian scholars already living and studying in Italy to guide and share information with students who are coming to study here — from the first steps of seeking admission through to settling in after arrival.

Our goal

To assist Nigerian students with clear, trustworthy information for coming to study in Italy — and to make sure that every prospective scholar has real people to turn to at every stage of the process.

The Study-in-Italy Process

A general overview of what the journey from application to arrival looks like. Go Italia exists to guide you through every one of these steps.

  2. 2

  3. 3

    Authentication at MoE & MoFA

Authenticating documents at the Ministry of Education (MoE) and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) in Abuja.

  4. 4

    Legalization of Documents / DOV

Legalizing documents and obtaining the Declaration of Value (DOV) from the Italian diplomatic mission, confirming academic qualifications are recognised in Italy.
